Ibrahim Aziz and Peter Wendland work together in various Early Music ensembles in the UK and have performed in many prestigious venues. Peter will be playing a stunning original 18th century viola da gamba made by Joachim Tielke and Ibrahim will be performing on a copy of this instrument.
The music features J S Bach\'s Inventions compiled in 1723, a work by Carl Friedrich Abel who was born in 1723, and a setting of one of William Byrd\'s rounds (Byrd died in 1623). A celebration of different composers from different ages on two violas da gamba.
