The Alice presents special pre-theatre dinner for The Mirror Crack’d performance at the Oxford Playhouse

From 12th to 15th October, diners can enjoy a pre-theatre menu at The Alice for £35 for three courses, before heading just a few doors down to the Oxford Playhouse to see the classic 1960s Miss Marple mystery, The Mirror Crack’d.

The wood-panelled Morse Bar will offer a selection of Agatha Christie inspired cocktails to sip before or after the show, including the Orient Express, a delicious mix of Sapling vodka, Triple sec, peach, cranberry and grapefruit.

The Alice is known for serving comforting, seasonal British dishes with a contemporary twist, and the three-course pre-theatre menu includes; a Parmesan tart, Mushroom & Soft Herb Salad to start, followed by Pan fried Pollock with Mash, Samphire and River FoweyMussels or Saddleback Pork with Chicory and Green Peppercorn Sauce. Desserts include a Pavlova, with Autumn Fruits & Blackberry Sorbet.

The performance of The Mirror Crack’d at the Oxford Playhouse is part of a new tour by The Original Theatre Company, and has been adapted for the Stage by Rachel Wagstaff and Directed by Philip Franks.
