Oxford Greenbelt 10k

Run 10km through the beautiful Oxford countryside

The Oxford Greenbelt 10k, Saturday 2nd May 2020, 11.00am

Following our well-supported events in 2017-19, we are pleased to be staging the fourth Oxford Greenbelt 10k run.  This year, all net proceeds are – as always – being donated to Oxfordshire Scouting; helping young people gain skills for life through exciting and adventurous activities.
In a change to last year, our venue is Brookes Sport, Oxford OX2 9AT – home of the Harcourt Hill Parkrun. Ample FREE parking is available on site.
Please note that Oxford Brookes University (Harcourt Hill) operates a no-dogs policy. No dogs are permitted on the event site or on the run, thank you.
It’s a predominantly off-road and undulating course, taking in a short section of the Oxford Greenbelt Way, a beautiful long-distance route encircling historic Oxford. By May, the course will be bursting with new life and looking its spring-best! Take a look at the route HERE.
We welcome racers, walkers and everyone in between from far and wide. From high points on the route, you’ll look across open countryside to Oxford’s world-famous dreaming spires!

Runners looking for an extra challenge could ‘double-up’ that morning, with the Harcourt Hill ParkRun at 9am, followed by our 10k at 11am!

With a nod to sustainability, our hugely popular edible GINGERBREAD MEDALS on compostable sisal strings will be awarded to all finishers!
No plastic cups or bottles will be used this year. Water will be available at the start and around halfway on the route. Entrants should bring their own refillable water bottles.
Public transport to the event site is available on the U1 ‘Brookes Bus‘.

Prizes for the 1st man and 1st woman across the finish line.

We are pleased to partner with AllRunners, your local England Athletics RunTogether group, for trainingonline chat and advice.
