The Jam Factory Arts Centre is its own unique creation. Whilst lending its walls to a diverse range of artists and building its reputation as a gallery space in its own right, we also run a variety of art classes and play host to various artistic groups whether that be our lovely knitters, our evening scrabble group or lending our space to theatre production rehearsals and discussion groups.
The space we have here aims to be accommodating and approachable.
The Jam Factory tries its best to show a diverse range of work and to accommodate a multitude of different people. We try to show work which we feel is definitely worth a peek and that is interesting to look at. We are organic and adaptable, always willing to take on board new suggestions and ideas so that we grow with our lovely customers.
We hope that you enjoy our lovely Arts Centre.
The Jam Factory serves only free-range, well sourced produce – local where possible and all cooked fresh to order. All of our beef is 28 dry aged Scotch Angus and we are proud members of the Scotch Beef Club! Our fish come from day boats not trawlers and we do not source from the Pacific Ocean… ever.
We pride ourselves on our ability to cook the same great fresh food for a table of 1 as we can for a group of 150.
Whether it’s an intimate dinner for a few friends or a whole venue hire out for a special birthday we can help – offering nibbles, canapés, a buffet or sit down meal.
Due to the unique layout in the Jam Factory there are plenty of options for spaces to hire, from The Boiler Room – our private dining space that seats up to 40 guests; The Large Gallery – seating 50 guests, to the whole venue – seating up to 160. With other options in between.
