At Camberwick Toys, success sparkles on the surface. Profits are up, the crowds love Father Christmas – played by the ever-jolly John Grubb – and the company looks set for its best season yet. But behind the festive façade lies a tangled web of secrets, grudges, and betrayals.

Hugh Pugh despises his wife Phyllis, marrying her only to gain access to her family’s fortune. Catherine Dibble, the hardworking sales manager, hides a dangerous addiction and a relationship with local criminal Robin Banks. And Handyman Barney McGrew, a man with a violent history, is bitter over being passed over for the coveted Father Christmas role.

Tensions simmer. Resentments boil. And when John Grubb turns up dead, the toy shop becomes a crime scene. In this snow-globe world of greed, lust, and lies – any one of them could be a killer.
