Weight Loss and Body Confidence with EFT Tapping

A holistic 4 week course designed to help you address the cycle of dieting, cravings, emotional eating and overcome negative beliefs about yourself. The hour-long sessions will be held online in small groups and you don’t need to have any experience of tapping.

What is Tapping? Tapping is also known as Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT). It works by tapping on specific points on the body whilst focusing on an issue. It is a powerful, yet gentle way of working with any experience that may be affecting your life. The process allows you to reprogram your mind to release negative patterns and beliefs.

The aim of this course is to give an introduction to some of the psychological issues that affect weight loss. Each session gives a basic understanding to an issue that would be covered in more depth over a matter of weeks if you were doing one to one therapy. After the class you will receive a handout with the basic tapping scripts used in that session so that you can continue to tap by yourself if you wish.

During this 4 week course we will:

  • Explore the roots of emotional eating and bad eating habits
  • Learn to have a better relationship with food
  • Learn how to trust yourself and your body
  • Address unconscious beliefs that hold you back
  • Improve mental wellbeing and reduce stress

Research has shown that EFT has been used successfully with a range of conditions including depression and anxiety as well as weight issues.
