Tinashe Mushakavanhu, Cut/Copy/Paste: Collage as a form of reading and writing the archive

Make the most of your lunch break, by joining the latest instalment of our We Are Our History (WAOH) lecture series. Dr Tinashe Mushakavanhu will examine the lives of Black people in the archives of Cecil John Rhodes, the institutional histories of museums and universities in Southern Africa, and in the creation of ‘fictional’ languages like Shona. Dr Mushakavanhu is a Junior Research Fellow in African & Comparative Literature at the Oxford Comparative Criticism and Translation, St Anne’s College.
