The Wild Witch’s Half Term Trail

Saturday, November 2, 2024 at 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

£8

A magical half term adventure with the Wild Witch for ages 4-11.

The Wild Witch is on a quest to transform herself into a magical animal in time for Halloween! Travel through the nature reserve helping her on her quest and learning about the amazing wildlife that lives here, join us for a live storytelling session, and whip up a fabulous potion of your own in the witch’s den. The Wild Witch uses her magic to take care of the nature reserve – write a wildlife protection spell and cast it to earn your #teamWilder sticker! Our quiet reading space will be available to take a break from the action. There is lots of outdoor space to play and picnic, bring a packed lunch and make a day of it. Hot drinks and squash available for a small cash donation.

Suitable for families with children aged 4 to 11 years (younger siblings may also attend and do not need a ticket). All children must be accompanied by an adult. The event runs from 10am-2pm, please book your ticket online (places limited) and arrive at a time that suits you within that window, last entry 1pm. Don’t forget to wear your pointy hat!

Please note the centre is accessible by public transport with regular buses (including connection to Didcot Parkway railway station) serving Milton Park, a few minutes walk from the centre.

We are committed to keeping our visitors, staff and volunteers safe. Please DO NOT attend if you or your child are unwell, or testing positive for an infectious illness, such as COVID-19. Your consideration is hugely appreciated.
