THE WANDERER / AU NATUREL

28 October @ 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm

£34
Toby Spence, Isabelle Peters, Sholto Kynoch, I Fagiolini & Robert Hollingworth

In the Holywell Music Room, Toby Spence and Sholto Kynoch perform songs by Franz Schubert, inspired by the quintessential Romantic artist, Caspar David Friedrich, in particular his iconic ‘Wanderer over the Sea of Mist’. In the stunning University Church, we enjoy the glorious sound of I Fagiolini as they present a specially devised programme in response to Pieter Brueghel the Younger’s cycle of paintings, The Seasons.

Half the audience will attend each concert, swapping places during the interval (check your ticket carefully for your starting point!). At the end of the evening, all are warmly invited for a celebratory drink in the University Church, to mark the end of this year’s Festival.
