Summertown Choral Society welcomes new members whether new, rusty or experienced

Singing improves our sense of happiness and wellbeing and brings physical benefits too such as improving out breathing and posture. So why not join Summertown Choral Society which has been welcoming choral singers of all ages and voice parts and whether experienced, rusty or complete novices since its foundation in 1961?

Rehearsals are at St Michael and All Angels church in Summertown on Thursday evenings from 8 to 9.30. Rehearsals for our Summer Concert, when we will be performing Rossini Petite Messe Solennelle, start on 19 February. Rossini was a fascinating man and witty bon viveur, and the Petite Messe Solennelle reflects his humour, his joie de vivre and his dramatic roots in opera. It will be great fun to sing, do join us.
