Berlioz, Le Corsaire: Overture
MacDowell, Fragment after The Song of Roland: The Lovely Alda
Elgar, Cockaigne Overture
Tchaikovsky, Symphony no 6 “Pathétique”

St Giles Orchestra will present a typically varied programme of music, including both familiar and unfamiliar works. Tchaikovsky’s much loved and deeply felt Pathetique Symphony will be preceded by overtures by Berlioz and Elgar, and a rarely heard piece by the American composer Edward MacDowell.

Tickets available at the door – £11, concessions £10 (under-18s free).
