Regency & Georgian Dance Class

Georgettes of Oxford is delighted to offer Regency and Georgian Country dance classes on alternate Friday evenings in the Parish Room at St Peter’s Church, Wolvercote.
Summer Term Dates: 9th & 23rd of June, 7th & 21st of July and 4th & 18th of Aug, 1st of Sept.
The classes will give an overview of dancing in the period. All footwork required will be covered, as well as a slow walk-through before each dance. Together, as we gain experience more dances will be added to our repertoire. All classes will have a warm-up and cool-down. As well as learning dances our favourite Heroes and Heroines would have danced to, these are social dances and the aim is to have fun! We will be practicing dances for our Summer Assembly on the 2nd of September.
FREE trial first class.
Free street side parking.
No partner or costume necessary.
