Regency Dance Class

Free

A FREE trial Georgian Country and Regency Dance class laid on by the new Georgian and Regency Society Georgettes of Oxford. Georgettes also offers Regency dance workshops, a range of social events and historical talks.

The class will give an overview of dancing in the period. All footwork required will be covered, as well as a slow walk-through before each dance. The class will have a warm-up and cool-down. As well as learning dances our favourite Heroes and Heroines would have danced to, these are social dances and the aim is to have fun!

No partner or costume necessary.
Please wear comfortable clothing and footwear for moving and dancing around in.
Not essential but Ballet or Jazz shoes or Greek sandals recommended for regular attendees.
Over 18s only.
