Property Ecosystem Roundtable discussion

Thursday, October 17, 2024 at 9:00 am - 11:00 am

Join B4 for our 2nd Property Ecosystem Roundtable discussion hosted at Mills & Reeve LLP

Join B4 Members for the next Property Ecosystem as they share challenges, successes and advice with each other in the 2nd of our Property Ecosystem Roundtable discussions hosted at Mills & Reeve LLP with Laura Ludlow, Principal Associate.

About the discussion

Oxfordshire is a science and technology super-cluster. Its universities, science parks, academics, investors, companies and its thriving advisory community all play a vital part. The region has 2,950 high-tech businesses employing nearly 29,000 people, with the county’s knowledge economy contributing £2.4billion to the UK economy every year. The sector’s success has an enormous impact on the Oxfordshire real estate market. Continuing strong demand for offices and laboratories is coupled with multiple schemes in construction or at the planning stage. At the Roundtable, we will discuss the significance of this sector on the Oxfordshire real estate market and how the market can support the full ecosystem and life cycle of the science sector.

About Laura Ludlow

Laura is a real estate development lawyer with an ESG focus. She has substantial experience of a diverse range of commercial property and construction matters, acting for universities and colleges, investment funds, developers, owners and occupiers on the management and development of their estates. Laura has worked at Mills & Reeve in Oxford and Cambridge, after several years working in London. With a keen interest on the ESG impact of real estate, Laura sits on the BPF Sustainability Committee and leads the M&R Real Estate ESG Group. Laura also works closely with IntoUniversity, the charity helping young people access higher education and achieve their aspirations, managing M&R’s team of volunteers supporting their community work. Outside of work, when not running around after her family, you’ll likely find Laura on the hockey pitch.
