Pathways to Progress: Unlocking Potential in SEND and NEET Young People

Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at 9:30 am - 12:00 pm

This event will provide information and advice for businesses on creating opportunities for young people with SEND and NEET young people.

This event is suitable for developers, planning consultants, contractors and hospitality industry professionals in Oxfordshire.

The event aims to bridge the gap between major development projects and local employment and training initiatives. It will provide information and practical advice for how a business can collaborate with Oxfordshire learning providers and employment support services for young people (aged 16-24) who are NEET (Not in Education, Employment or Training) and young people with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) in order to create invaluable work and training opportunities and fill gaps in the workforce.

There will be an opportunity to hear best practice and the business perspective from major Oxfordshire employers and learn more about the facilities at Oxford City Campus to support SEND learning.
