Open Throat book club

A special book club event for Independent Bookshop Week 2024. Hosted by our bookseller Ulric, we’ll be celebrating a book that charmed us all – the brilliant Open Throat by Henry Hoke, narrated by Heckit the mountain lion, who lives in the Hollywood Hills. Come along to the bookshop and chat about this wonderfully strange novel, as part of IBW’s Big Book Club celebrations. Book club is free to attend but RSVPing to reserve your place is essential – get in touch over the phone, by email or pop into the shop.
