Monthly indoor-outdoor workshop for ages 5-9 & adult

Nature Club – Animal Senses

Discover the amazing world of senses at this month’s Nature Club! Try out feely bags with natural objects, and describe what’s inside. Explore camouflage in our woodland with our caterpillar experiment, by hunting for colourful pipecleaner caterpillars – which colours will survive? Explore the woodland with our expert leader and listen to woodland sounds – identify bird song, hear rustling leaves or find the most peaceful spot, and go on a sensory trail of woodland scents! Make mini sensory pocket bags or tea-bags filled with herbs and spices to take home.

What is included in your ticket:

90 minute club session for one child and accompanying adult

Access to:

– Access to the woodland and outdoor areas (inlcuding the Water Lab, bring a change of clothes) from 10am–5pm (last entry 4.30pm)

– Cafe 10am – 4pm

– Parking (limited availability)

What is NOT included:

– Access to the Exploration Zone

Event Details

All Nature Club sessions must be accompanied by an adult. These family workshops are designed for you and your child to learn from each other and work together while trying out new things. Led by our expert club leaders with bespoke activities designed to provide science-inspired fun challenges. There is a different theme each week so we and you are always learning something new!

10AM – 11.30AM

12.30PM – 2PM

3PM – 4.30PM

Suitable for ages 5-9 (accompanied by an adult)

£14 per club ticket (includes Eventbrite booking fee)

One child and accompanying adult

£5 additional adult/s ticket admittance to Science Club and outside areas / café. All attendees need a ticket, for under 3’s we recommend the Family Day instead.

The Café is open 10am – 4pm. Families are welcome to bring picnics and snacks to eat at our lunch tables.
