Mindfulness Nature Walk

Join OPS for a journey of mindfulness and discovery at the Harcourt Arboretum, with the intention to get closer to nature and inner peace.

Join us for a serene and rejuvenating Mindfulness Nature Walk at the University of Oxford’s Harcourt Arboretum. Nestled within 130 acres of picturesque woodland and meadow, the arboretum offers a perfect setting to unwind and connect with nature. This guided walk is designed to help you cultivate mindfulness, enhance your well-being, and appreciate the beauty and tranquility of the natural environment. This walk should help you stay present and fully immerse yourself in the surroundings.

Entrance Tickets:

To book a space for this event is free, however the actual entrance to the Arboretum is not free. A full adult day ticket is £7.20. If you are an Oxford University or Oxford Brookes Univeristy Students get free entrance on showing your ID card. Students from other university can get a concession student ticket for £5.90. Individuals over 65 can get a concession over 65 day ticket for £5.90. Disabled vistior and carers are also given free entrance. Due to the variable nature of tickets, OPS will not be covering this ticket price.

About the Harcourt Arboretum:

The Harcourt Arboretum, part of the University of Oxford’s Botanic Garden, is a haven for plant and nature enthusiasts. Established in 1835, it features an extensive collection of trees, plants, and flowers from around the world, providing a serene environment for education, conservation, and recreation. The arboretum is dedicated to promoting the understanding and appreciation of the natural world through various programs and events.

The Harcourt Arboretum is conveniently accessible from Oxford city center. The best transport options include:

Stagecoach Bus X40: Take the Stagecoach Bus X40 from Oxford City Centre towards Reading. The bus ride is approximately 30 minutes. Alight at the “Nuneham Courtenay” stop, which is a short walk from the arboretum entrance.

For those preferring to drive, there is ample parking available on-site. The journey by car takes around 20 minutes, depending on traffic.
