From T-shirt to Tote Bag: Upcycling Workshop with Jessica Farrell

Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Join us for an inspiring evening of creativity and sustainability with local artist Jessica Farrell. Saving the planet 1 T-shirt at a time!

Join Earth Trust for an inspiring evening of creativity and sustainability with local artist Jessica Farrell. At this exclusive fashion upcycling workshop, you’ll transform an ordinary old t-shirt into a unique, reusable tote bag, perfect for shopping, school, or everyday use.

By repurposing clothing and upcycling materials we already possess, we embrace a sustainable method of artistic creation.

Come along to Earth Trust and discover the joy of turning something old into something wonderfully new.

What to Expect:

  • Hands-On Learning: Jessica will share her experience and knowhow to guide you through the process of turning a t-shirt into a tote bag, teaching techniques that combine practicality with artistic flair.
  • Materials Provided: While you’ll need to bring your own t-shirt (lighter colours are preferred for a wider range of paint options), Jessica will supply all other necessary materials, including paints, beads, and additional decorative items.
  • Creative Collaboration: Work alongside fellow participants to breathe new life into old clothing and broken jewellery that would have otherwise ended up in a landfill.

Don’t miss this unique opportunity to learn new skills, meet like-minded individuals, and contribute to a more sustainable future. Let your creativity shine!

About the Artist: Jessica Farrell is a renowned local artist known for her innovative approach to upcycling and sustainable fashion. With a passion for transforming the old into the new, Jessica inspires creativity and environmental consciousness in all her workshops.
