Join B4 members & First For Safety Oxfordshire (FFSO LTD) for an introduction into Fire Safety & First Aid Basics Made Easy discussion.

Commercial Fire Safety made easy & practical
A thirty minute Fire Safety in the workplace made easy presentation including legal requirements as an employer & Fire Risk Assessment delivered by Fire Officer and Fire Safety Consultant Justin Kamphuis who is co-Director at FFSO LTD with 22 years experience in the Fire & Rescue Service. There will be ample opportunity to ask questions in relation to commercial fire safety, fire precautions, legislation & fire risk assessment.
The opening talk will be followed by a live Fire Extinguisher Practical (outside) & an opportunity for attendees to practice using different fire extinguishers to extinguish a live gas rig fire. Those attending the full duration will receive a certificate of attendance they can use as ongoing evidence of Fire Safety Training for their CPD/CV.
Life Saving CPR & Defibrillation explained & practical
A thirty minute ‘CPR & Defibrillator’ presentation by First Aid Instructor Drew Kamphuis who is MD at FFSO Ltd with 28 years experience in the Emergency Services. This is an opportunity to practice Adult CPR on mannequins and use realistic training defibrillators. Ample opportunity to ask questions. Those attending the full duration will receive a certificate of attendance they can use as ongoing evidence of Emergency First Aid Training for their CPD/CV.
Fun! – This will be a relaxed, fun & practical B4 event with a difference. There will be time for networking and a fantastic opportunity to ask lots of Fire Safety & Emergency First Aid related questions with the Justin and Drew as the experts delivering the sessions. You will learn essential life-saving skills that could save a family member, friend, colleague or anyone!

Certification: Please note this is an introduction to Fire Safety & Life Saving First Aid skills only. Certification is NOT accredited (certificates of attendance supplied) but can be used for ongoing evidence of Fire Safety & Emergency First Aid Training for CPD/CV purposes.

FEES
There is NO cost to attend this event but we are asking all guests to consider a small donation to the B4 RAISE Fund* which B4 is running this year – more details will be shared after the event.
*RAISE’24 is aiming to raise £150,000 for 11 amazing charities on 13th December at Keble College. Funds raised will be held by Oxfordshire Community Foundation (OCF) in a dedicated B4 RAISE Fund, which will allow Gift Aid to be added where relevant. OCF will then distribute funds to the beneficiary charities as grants in 2025. If you would like to find out more about RAISE’24, please contact the B4 team.
