Family Baking Workshop: make bread animals!

Saturday, February 17, 2024 at 10:30 am - 1:00 pm

A baking workshop with a twist – make bread rolls with your children and enjoy a crafting activity with them whilst it bakes.

We will learn how to mix and knead dough to make bread rolls. We can make hibernating animals like hedgehogs or dormice, or have a go at making your own chosen bread creature. Whilst we wait for our dough to rise and bake we can explore the farm, meet the animals and make a hibernation nest to transport our bread home in!

Child safety scissors will be available for baking and craft activities. There will be a crafting activity for the children whilst the bread rolls proof and bake.

Suitable for children aged 3 plus and all adults must be accompanied by an adult.

(Please note: recipe contains gluten.)
