Emmeline Clein in conversation with Alice Slater

1 May @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

We’re very lucky to be hosting Emmeline Clein whilst she is in the UK, in conversation about her book Dead Weight: On Hunger, Harm and Disordered Eating with Alice Slater. Dead Weight explores disordered eating from several different approaches – the author’s own experience, famous figures across time and popular culture, the economic conditions that underpin this epidemic, and the medical & social histories of anorexia, bulimia, orthorexia and binge eating.

You can read more about the books & speakers on our website.
Tickets £5 including a glass of wine or a soft drink, book in the shop or online. Our events tend to sell out so we strongly recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment!
