Computing Club KS3: Spooky Game Design (Ages 11-14)

Saturday, October 19, 2024 at 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm

Get coding and making on a Saturday at our monthly programming club for children age 11-14 at the Science Oxford Centre

Would you like to play a game? Young coders design their very own ghastly game for the spooky season using Microsoft MakeCode Arcade this October. Your super-scientist Avatar could spot invaders, catch ghouls or fly into Space on rocket powered broomsticks! Spookily-good fun.

Suitable for ages 11-14 children who are currently in school years 7-9.

These workshops are unaccompanied. Adult/s are welcome to wait in the café area of the Science Oxford Centre during the session. All club attendees need a ticket.

Our unaccompanied workshops are designed for young people to work on projects that interest them alongside their peers. Led by our expert club leaders, try out bespoke activities designed to provide science-inspired fun challenges. There is a different theme each week so we and you are always learning something new!
