An amazing day out for all the family at Sutton Courtenay Environmental Education Centre, full of Butterfly themed fun!

Make the most of the summer holidays with a lovely day out on the nature reserve for the whole family. The theme this year is Butterflies! Expect butterfly and wildlife themed fun all over the nature reserve – discover fascinating butterfly facts in the discovery zone, make a butterfly feeder to take home, get close to all sorts of minibeasts in a meadow sweeping session, enjoy live storytelling, get creative in the giant mud kitchen, transform into a caterpillar in the dress up basket and much more! Bring a picnic lunch to enjoy at our picnic tables and stop by the education centre for a cuppa and a delicious slice of cake.  We’ll have hot drinks and cakes for sale – CASH ONLY PLEASE! Don’t forget to buy a ticket for the raffle too for your chance to win a fabulous Family Wildlife Discovery Pack! (Raffle tickets available online in advance or cash on the day)

Please note the centre is accessible by public transport with regular buses (including connection to Didcot Parkway railway station) serving Milton Park, a few minutes walk from the centre. Car parking for this event will be offsite at Crowcon, a few minutes walk from the centre. Drop off and disabled parking will be onsite as usual. Please look out for an email giving you a map and clear directions to the parking – and signage on the day.
