Beginner Plus Bike Ride: South Oxford to Oxfam Superstore Cafe

A gentle-paced 9-mile women-only ride using a mixture of cycle paths and quiet roads.

This will be a gentle paced women-only ride suitable for anyone who can ride a bike. You will need to be able to pedal, steer and use the brakes. The ride is 9 miles long using a mixture of cycle paths and quiet roads.

We will be meeting at 09:45 for a prompt start at 10:00. Our meeting point will be St Ebbe’s Primary School, Whitehouse Road, Oxford, OX1 4NA.

We will stop for a break at the Water Tank Cafe, Oxfam Superstore, before heading back to St Ebbes. We aim to be back by 12:15.

Please make sure your bike is in good working order. We don’t have bikes available to borrow for this ride.

Please bring with you:

  • A helmet if you wish to wear one
  • Water
  • Practical weather appropriate clothing (e.g. rain coat, gloves, suncream)
  • Snacks
  • Money/card for the café if you’d like to buy refreshments
  • Bike Lock
