As part of an international tour, Pacific Chorale with Bath Philharmonia present the UK premiere performance of Florence Price’s rediscovered Abraham Lincoln Walks at Midnight alongside Joseph Haydn’s stirring and majestic Nelson Mass in the glorious setting of the Sheldonian Theatre.

Thanks to the sensational recovery of dozens of her manuscripts from an abandoned house in 2009, the music of groundbreaking composer Florence Price is experiencing a deserved renaissance.

Although composed in vastly diffent times in reaction to vastly different circumstances on separate continents, both works convey powerful and profound messages of humanity relevant to today.
